I am US Permanent Resident with Brazilian passport, can I travel to/from Brazil through Canada without VISA?

I would be in Canada for only a few hours.
Route: Philadelphia-Toronto-Brazil and back - Brazil-Toronto-Philadelphia.
I have a feeling that I don't need a visa but my question is on my way back to USA, more specifically Brazil-Canada (Immigration).
Any answer will be greatly appreciated.

You do NOT need a transit visa for Canada. You can go to the website below. Enter your nationality (Brazil), enter that you are an alien resident of the U.S.A., enter your transit point ( Canada), then enter your destination. Then click for the info and you will see that you doNOT need a transit visa for Canada.

you need your valid passport and green card

As a permanent resident of the United States you will not need a visa, transit or otherwise to enter Canada.

You will however need to take with you your passport. In addition to this you are also required to take your green card, both to enter Canada and to re-gain entry into the United States.

As a US permanent resident you do not need a visa while in transit at the Toronto Airport. You can check the Canadian immigration website for the subject as follows.

yes immagration is the only thing i would say you would have to do, using your visa to pay for something, now that should work, but i would bring it just incase of if you did need it, when i went to the bahammas all we needed was birth certificates and social security to get back to america!
hope this helped!

as is when travelling thru any foreign country, when entering into canada, yes, you are required to produce a pass port, the borders have tightened their security levels, and this is required or you may be refused entry, i am a long haul trucker, living in canada, and we are going to be required to have them to cross into the usa in the new year as well

That's a question you need to ask of the INS, dear one.

God bless!
