i saw on the news that alot of immagrent doctors who have applied for jobs here in canada have been turned down because they dont have the same tests or somthing and that they needed to have trained in Canada and been tested in Canada |

to be a doctor in Canada you may have to retrain |
|

u r dumb
|
just like in many other countries you imigrate to you will find you will have to take some type of retraining ..its not just canada that has this rule set in place....and this is not just limited to the medical profession but others as well |

You have to apply to the College of Physicains and Surgeons to get accreditation to practise in Alberta.
You may be required to take tests or additional training and tests depending on your quals. |

sorry, but ur options r pretty much zilch. u need to pass certain exams here in canada, which cost money, untill u can become a certified doctor here. the system sucks |

You will have to check out the government standards for you to become a doctor. I know a girl you did medical school in Pakistan and then did her residency here in Alberta. Maybe you just have to do you residency again. I know that sucks, but I think it is a way to protect us from people coming here an practising medicine even though they aren't qualified. I know you are probably telling the truth but unfortunately people have come before you who don't tell the truth and messed things up for you. |

Many have to work in restaurant, store or driver to feed the family no matter how high education in their original country. This is Canada dream for foreigners. |

I'm sry to say this, but it's true. u WON'T be able to get a job as a doctor here, if u don't go to college/university in Canada, even though u were a doctor in Pakistan, it's useless in canada. unless u can show them that u are very usefull to them (like perform a surgery to a patient when tere's no doctor available) or relearn everything in an Canadian school, it's useless in canada.
True story: there was a brain surgent who immigrated into canada. the canadian government did not let him continue his career as a brain surgent in canada. one day, he saw the accident happen in person, that an MP got into a car accident and his head cracked open. the MP had to get surgery done ASAP to survive. there were no doctors there at the time so the brain surgent IMMIDIATLY performed brain surgery on the sidewalk to the MP, and he survived, because of the brain surgent. The government heard this news and let him be a brain surgent in canada.
yeah, u have to do sumthing like that to become a doctor in Canada. harsh right?? i donno why my country does that.
Hoped i helped! |
