Does March break really exist? I was watching "Life With Derek" the other day, and Casey said something about March Break. Does it exist, and if so, does it last all march or is it a week like Spring Break? |

I didn't know Life With Derek aired in the States! Yep March Break does exist! And we call it March Break and Spring Break. Different schools across the country have it at different times in the spring - though it is generally in March-April. And it is usually a week long. Hope that helps! =) |

March Break is for kids from junior kindergarten to grade 12. When you get into post-secondary education (so University or College), you get reading week instead. I have heard that this comes before exams, and therefore much of the time is spent studying.
March break does exist however, and good choice on watching life with Derek... good show! |

March Break is exactly the same thing as your Spring Break. We just call it a bit different.
Like our Thanksgiving is in early October too whereas yours is in November sometime. |

March break is the exact same thing as Spring Break, but it's (sadly) only 1 week... ;( Boohoo....

It is like spring break and it really exists. I think taking it away from students would foment an awesome rebellion! It doesn't last all March - just one week (plus two weekends) so it ends up being about 9 days. |
