Yes
Niagara Falls is a fun city.
Besides the Falls, or hanging out on Clifton Hill, you may want to go to Marineland, Maple leaf village, the Casino, the restaunts are great or maybe just shopping.
One night at the falls cant hurt, then i guess we will see you in Toronto.
Have a nice trip |

Well I've been to Niagara before. It's quite beautiful, with the large waterfall and all. Although I haven't quite explored what was around the area.
I suggest you stick around for maybe a few minutes, or even hours.
Toronto is definitely a beautiful place to go. You should see whats around! Go shopping, get souvenirs.. You'll never know what you'll be end up finding.
.. Just don't get lost.. |

Niagara Falls is where you'll cross the border into Canada. You should definitely spend the night, you'd have a blast. There are tons of things to do and see.
Aside from the natural beauty of the Falls themselves, there is plenty of night life and other attractions. |

Niagara falls will be the first thing you see as you cross 'Rainbow Bridge' from the states. Definitely stop over!!! Go for dinner in the revolving restaurant at the skylon tower, it's a bit posh but not too expensive really!! For a three course lunch I paid about C50$!
Niagara has lots to do and see, even just to see the falls up close is great. If you are into Casinos you will be sorted too, just stick to a budget!!!
In Toronto I would highly recommend that you take a 'Hippo' Tour bus around the city and then out onto Lake Ontario, yes it goes on water and land!!!
Enjoy your trip :) |

I am not sure you need to spend the night there as the hotels might be more expensive than in the Toronto area because of the tourist season being in full swing. But if the price is not much different, then a hotel there may be worth it.
When I went to Niagara Falls, I enjoyed going to it during the day and seeing the falls, take the Maid of the Mist tour, go see the nearby Botanical Gardens and perhaps Brock Tower. In Niagara itself, you have the Ripley's Believe it or Not museum, the casino, and some pretty good restaurants.
You will want to probably see the falls at night as well as during the day, as it is a breathtaking view with all the lights. And since you are there after dark, it would make sense to stay the night, have breakfast, and then be on your way.
As for the route, if you are coming to Toronto from Jersey and going through the Buffalo border crossing, then yes it is on the way. If you go all the way up to Kingston, Ontario and then head west to Toronto, then no it is not. |

Stay on the Canadian side of the Falls.....the American side is nasty. The other side has all kinds of shops, restaurants, casino etc. |

Toronto is one of the ugliest cities in Canada. Niagara Falls, on the other hand, is beautiful. Your call. |
