I live in Idaho (which is near Canada), and I've always wanted to get out of conservative fundamentalist America without having to go too far away due to family issues, etc.

I would pack at least 5 outfits that can be mismatched, with the minimum amount of shoes. Example if your a female, a pair of jeans with a tank top for day, and a cute falttering dressy shirt for night with the same jeans.

it is so cold up in canada..........bring lots of warm clothes...not bright ones b/c it attracts polar bears to you.......well, i better get back to my igloo.

Rather little. A spare pair of pants, two underwears, another shirt, your jammies, and the toiletries.

About four days worth. You are going to be sweating like crazy from the heat and are going to want to change clothes two times a day.

Pack only the clothing you would need for 2 days..don't get extra or less..you might be questioned on that..check what kind of weather in the place you are going.. and sometimes it is cool so bring one sweatshirt.. pair of shoes for walking around
I got questioned one time because I just got less clothing for a week tour... I intended to go shopping so I don't take much... but as I have my company ID and show that I would be coming back soon to my home country they let me in..

If you are going to Montreal/Van/To, you just need to pack your undies. You can buy some nice souvenir-type t-shirts there and u can get by on the pants you are wearing.
