The drinking age is 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec, and 19 everywhere else.

Jean Talon
Depends what part of Canada you are going to. The drinking age is not universal across the country.

No. You have to actually be 19. Unless you go to Quebec. The drinking age there is 18.

if you go to quebec sure... if not the bars close at like 2.. so you'll have a good 2 hours of drinking time

Go to Montreal, you're already legal in Quebec. Otherwise, I guess after midnight but I think last call in Ontario is 1 am.

Cariad
If you are in the places that 19 is legal drinking age; no, they wont. Doesnt matter if you are one day or 1 year from being 19; in the eyes of the law you are NOT legal age.

Allie M
They should as long as you have id with your birthday and a picture. i don't think that they even ask half the time.

patgd25
If they card you before midnight on the 19th, they won't let you. However, if you aim to arrive at the bar after midnight, they'll serve you for the next 2 hours until last call.
