The Divine Bubba Blue
No. We use tin cans and string, except when we're out at the moose races: then we use bullhorns.

Yep. We have all the mod cons. moving pictures, running water, all that stuff.

Rapid Fire
Yes; all of our jail cells have phones. Can you manage a rotary dial?
We tried cell phones but the water dripping from the roofs of our igloos kept shorting out the batteries and then our houses would melt.

wombat.moose
we communicate through sled dogs and telegrams that come to our igloos,

no, if you phone is not prepaid it will work just fine.

Not only do we have cell phone coverage here in Canada but we also have electricity, paved roads, grocery stores and central heating. Isn't technology wonderful?

Depends on where you are going (realize that you'll be charged higher fees)

Most of the densely populated areas of the country (which tend to be near the American border) have cell phone reception.

Here is a coverage map from Bell Canada.
It is essentially the same for all the other major Canadian carriers (who will likely relay your signal).
