I am thinking of moving to London or Canada for six mnths. Anyone have any info that I shoud be considering? |
I will be graduating from college next year (08) and will have about eight months before I start Law School. I never had the opportunity to study abroad bc of limited classes offered for my major (Criminal Justice). I have always loved both London and Canada, but I have no clue were to begin with such a HUGE task. Help!!! |

KZ is right London will be very expensive.
The thing to consider is what are you looking for in your 8 months of living abroad. I take it the you live in the US, so what are you looking for while living outside the US?
You also stated London or Canada. That is a big difference as there are many different cities to consider in Canada.
I think the driving factors should be what experiences you are trying to gain and what your finances can support.
Good Luck |

Canada is a nice place, but as a student I would go to London, it is much more fun and you can travel all around Europe (which in Canada would be difficult and expensive to travel around the country)
I've been in both places, London is more expensive though, but if you are only going to spend there 6 months is definitely worth it |

London is not so expensive as some might say, but it's just way too overcrowded to have a great career, so I'd definitely choose Canada.! |

Both are great places, but London is a great place to visit. It's a huge city with so much history. It's one of the financial center's of the world, and even though it's expensive, it's worth the trip to London. |

Well I am sure the college that you are at can help. espicallaly if interested in taking a class on international law/legal processes. Look into big city schools like in London or toranto but the key is to live there only 179 days...any more then that you are thought of as a citizen and have havic with taxes and legal things.
I would ask around at the school. |
