If it does not have anything to do with the olympics, be careful taking it to the bank because if it is counterfeit, they will take it and not give it back. They will not reimburse the value either. |

It may just be an Olympic coin...Vancouver 2010...I have an Olympic quarter in the pocket of my sweater.
Look on the side with the Queen on it...that's the front of the coin. The year on there is the year it was made. The other side with a loon or sometimes a promotional character, like with the Olympic coins, can show another date...but the official date stamp is shown with the Queen. |
