I have an identical twin and I am going to Canada. I dont have a passport?
Could I get charged if I used my indentical twin's passport to come up to Canada? Additional Details Assuming I got caught because I want to go to Canada to meet our older brother.
It is illegal to use someone else's passport, regardless of whether it is your twin and you're identical. For US citizens, knowingly using someone else's passport is a felony. It is punishable by up to fifteen years in prison, to knowingly use someone else's passport or a false or irregularly issued passport..

It is illegal to travel under someone elses passport. Also unwise since if something happened to you they would think it was her. However, throwing caution to the wind. You and your identical twin have the same DNA and fingerprints....so you could get away with it unless you or your sister fessed up or you have scarring that identifys you as not your sister. The choice is ultimately yours though.

It is absolutely illegal to travel with someone else's passport. You can be charged for sure. Just get your own passport!!

well it is against the law, if that's what you are asking. You would get charged with identity theft and fraud. However, if you have exactly the same hair/height etc...you should be fine-however I wouldn't advocate it. good luck.
u r dumb

I called the boarder myself. You don't have to have a passport as of yet, a simple drivers license will do. Just be sure you have no felonies and or a DWI here in the states. Good luck.
lori
That is illegal and your twin may lose their passport too.

You got all good answers. you do not NEED a passport to travel to Canada by land until after SUMMER 2008. See website below for current info and read top half of page. Then see 2nd website for passport application info..

Yes it's illegal! Don't risk it and just use your own passport! Just because we're up north doesn't mean that we're not law enforcers!
