A prank call is a joke call. Classic examples are when Bart calls Moe the bartender in The Simpsons

Prank calling is something losers do because they don't have the guts to say things to people's faces. It can be threatening or just annoying. Don't ever talk to them. Hang up immediately.

what?? how do you not know what that means? well anyway it means that somebody randomly called her and was like hi is ur fridge running and she said yes and then they were like then ud better catch it. something dumb like that or they just called alot and hung up

are you actually serious?a prank call is when someone calls someone else and tells some silly joke such as "Is your refridgerator running?"and the other person replys "yes"and the person who asked the question says"then you better go catch it" and hangs up the phone or talks stupid on the phone and hangs up or someone calls over and over again and keeps hanging up.there are so many senerios but that would be what some prank phone calls consist of i hope that helps a little bit

It's probably some kids just having a little fun. I and my friends did it way back when I was a teen. The funnier, the better. One of my friends would do "baby talk" and not make a single bit of sense -- you'd have people on the other end trying to figure it out.
