Sure, if you're an American citizen you'll need notarized permission for your parents or legal gardian and currently a passport or at least some photo ID and your birth certificate.
Here's all the info you'll need. http://travel.state.gov/travel/tips/regional/regional_1170.html |

I'm pretty sure you can, as long as you have a passport. |

You do NOT need a passport to get into Canada if you are an American citizen. Canada is making no such requirements. In the future however (starting next year) you will need a passport to get back into the US. Furthermore, you would not need a note or anything of the sort from your parents. The only issue you may run into is the vehicle you cross over the border in. If it is registered in your name, no problem, if it is registered to someone else, then you would need a letter of permission from that individual. |

You need a passport now, which you can get at the post office, but since you're 17, you're parents will have to get it for you. You can go to Kinkos to get a passport picture. |

It doesn't matter what age you are, you can always cross borders (you just need to have your parents go with you sometimes). You'll need a passport, though, but they're easy to get. Aside from the post office, your county office should be able to provide you your passport as long as you have a passport photo. |
