Know-it-all
Immigrating to Canada is easy. The details for the types of immigration visas you can apply for and resulting requirements are found on this page:-
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/index.html

The most popular being the Skilled Worker Class and for the french speaking people of the world, the Provincial Nomination Class.

Beware, there are many sites and people who claim to help people immigrate to Canada. Do not get scammed. They have no more influence on the decisions than you do. There is no Government sponsored agencies. Immigration process is fairly simple and designed to be handled by individuals like you. Follow the official site I listed above and you'll be in good hands.

I've also been looking into moving to Canada & attended an 'Emigrate Show' at York racecourse last weekend. It was organised by Outbound Publishing who publish a number of papers about emigrating. Check out their websites as it was very informative & I came away with a lot of useful info. Also, it's a big place, do a bit of research & decide where you want to go & check out the Canadian embassy website too for info on visas. Good luck!

The personal information you provide, is collected with the sole purpose of assessing your potential for immigration to Canada under the current immigration Canada selection criteria.

It's such a lovely country! You'll need to do your research into job prospects, house prices and whether you can afford it. It would be a good to talk to the Canadian Embassy in London (I guess!) and their immigration people.

Good luck!
