People that have been living all their lifes with snow are probably bored with it. People that just experienced their first winter would find it interesting, beautiful or just purely special.

I had my first experience with snow 11 years ago back in Missisauga, Toronto. I remembered how it felt. I spent the whole night lying on the snow bed with snow flakes falling on my face. The quiteness, peacfulness, serenity environment just made it more relaxing. Yeah... it was amazing. Something I've never thought I would've experienced. But yeah... when you have to do all that shoving and driving during winter, it isn't really a favourite past time.

Now that I'm leaving in the tropical country, I kinda missed the cool winter.

Christmas isnt Christmas without snow IMO. Snow is great, its pretty, you can go skiing, do the apres ski thing, sit in the hot tub and watch the snowflakes drift down to land on your head, you can go boarding, skidoing, cross country skiing, great photo ops, beautiful snow covered scenery, ice skating, tobaganing, sitting by a warm fire watching the snow fall, making snow angels, and snow men, snow ball fights, horse drawn sleigh rides through a winter wonderland, whats not to like?

I love snow!!!
people probably don't like it because they associate it with slush and dirty snow and ice that you fall on, etc.

but when you have a field of fresh, soft, clean snow,
its like oooh yeah funnn!

lisa k
maybe they love the sentimentality of it all . the change of the seasons.... the fact that snow is christmas like & holiday & rain can be nice also

hard rain gentle rain its good to get some chores done but snow & rain mixed ? ugh it makes slush not very good its messy & u walk in it & slops all over your boots,,,gets to your feet

AN UMBRELLA IS OK FOR ANY TYPE OF RAIN ASLONG AS ITS NOT FATAL BUT SNOW ALSO AS LONG AS NOT FATAL IS GENTLE

SNOW MEN SNOW ANGELS ITS ALLIN YOUR OWN PERCEPTION I SUPPOSE

people don't like to shovel snow and it is dangerous to drive in...rain is messy and everything gets muddy and wet

because in most of the world it's cold and blurky and it fucks up their ability to go places: need to dress warmly, roads get blocked, etc
in the summer, it's hot but still it's easier to go out and do stuff.
winter is for staying indoors and making love on the rug near the fireplace or cuddling up together..
