If you don't have enough money to apply as a skilled worker, you should try to come on a temporary work permit and apply for permanent status from inside of Canada later. There is need for electricians in Canada but you have to get certified. They will let you work for 6 months and then you have to take an exam to prove that you know what you are doing. If you fail, you have to go home.

Here are a couple of employment agencies that may be able to help you find a job:

Or you can look for a job yourself:

Canada does not usually recognize foreign credentials and you need a ticket to work as an electrician. Most of the time they make tradesmen write exams to get a Canadian ticket. Probably the provincial one and the red seal exam so you can work in all provinces. Once you have the Canadian ticket some employer might recognize your other credentials too.

My exams for my machinist tickets were a 120 question provincial exam and a 135 question federal exam.

First, you have to get a VISA or Work Permit or whatever Canada requires to immigrate there. I think Canada would love to have you move there because you sound like a hard worker and a nice person. You also have a lot of experience that will help you out. I don't know your certificate will transfer, but your job experience will. Hopefully, someone can help you at this website

Good Luck.

Immigrate to Canada also is good idea , but you should follow the steps to reach ur goal , as you said u have an experience .
first step : before you apply for (Federal Skilled Workers and Business Class ) you shoul test ur self on (Skilled Workers Assessment) to make sure you're eligible to this kind of immigration check this website (http://www.workpermit.com/canada/assessment_form.htm) for the test and This assessment is free.
another step is : to check ur work experience with Canadian National Occupation Classification List (NOC). to know your experience points
in the listed occupation.site below show you this details
(http://www.workpermit.com/canada/employee_list.htm)
another steps : (Provincial Nominee Program ) this programe will help you to immigrate faster the the normal skilled worker immigration check it
last step is to fill the application (Permanet Residence ) and pay the fees to the nearest Canadian Embassy and sure you success .

Come to America and walk across the bridge.

Good luck. There are unemployed electricians who are Canadian, so chances of you getting a job are zero unless someone hires you illegally (which can get them hefty fines if not jail time, oh, and you too.).
