I'm not familiar with all of them, but Toronto is one of the cities I've lived in, and all I can say is you'll make friends REAL fast if you're open to meeting people. They are very friendly there, and things don't quite work over there the way they do in the states.
You'll enjoy the experience though.

Generally anywhere you go to in Canada, you'll find friendly people who will help you out if you need it, but the first thing I suggest you do when you get to your new home is this: pick up a map of the place and really get to know it. You'll be happier if you have an idea of where it is you're trying to get to.

I've been there several times and i approve of it, i think it's well balenced country. People are really friendly and i recommend somewhere in ontario. Not too much of a big city if you prefer the suburbs. Except, if you like the bligger cities, i'd suggest toranto. If you like senic places, there's always alberta. :)
