Are you coming from somewhere else in Canada or immigrating from another country? If it's the former, all you need is enough money to tide you over until you get a job and get settled in an apartment. It it;s the latter, there are immigration procedures to go through. Contact Canada Customs and Immigration, or the nearest Canadian Consulate for that information

oh my god and goddess...vancouver is super ghetto...i've been there. make sure you move to the north side. it's richer and not as ghetto!!! you'll need lots of ponchos and coats because it rains a lot and it's really cold in the winter.
