Banff! Absolutely beautiful in summer, but in winter it is breathtaking.

Try one of the ski resorts such as Whistler. They have over 9' of snow right now.

Somewhere you can ski maybe? So any of the ski resorts out west in British Columbia/Alberta.

Ottawa is really pretty during the winter- if you come during February you can see Winterlude/skate on the canal.

Quebec City is classically beautiful too, and they have winter carnavals as well as skiing.

If you like to ski then go to Whistler.. It is an awesome place and there is quite a nightlife there.
good deals with air and travel if you look for them.

I'd say Whistler B.C. isyour best bet. It's weather is usually okay - nice and cold with snow.

Banff, Alberta and Mont Tremblant in Quebec are also nice places.

I'd say if you want to spend Xmas in Canada, you should saty away from the cities since the experience is pretty much teh same as in any US/European city i.e. parties, nightlife, lots of good food. But for the authentic stereotypical CDN experience, go to a resort!

Mr Canoe
Definitely Banff.

New Brunswick isn't a city.

Banff/Jasper/Kananaskis Alberta

Any of those places are white and beautiful.

Banff has more nightlife. Kananaskis has skiing but is quieter and more restful (peaceful and beautiful as far as I'm concerned).

Jasper is beautiful as well.
