Kinkycouple is correct. You are not permitted to enter Canada if you have a criminal record, and eventually you will get caught.
redpeach_mi
so? i don't think they are going to check your record just to enter their country. i have been to Canada and all you have to do is drive through customs.

First thing - all the above answers are INCORRECT.
If you have a criminal record of ANY sort, you cannot enter Canada. I suggest that you get in touch with a Canadian Embassy closest to you and ask them what you have to do to enter Canada LEGALLY.
Sooner or later, when crossing the border, you WILL get caught. It doesn't matter if it a petty crime or a major crime, it will catch with you eventually if you do not deal with it accordingly.

do you have a passport?
how serious is the felony
if you have a long record of preying on people
they might keep you out as an undesirable
but if you paid your debt to society
& have been a pretty good boy since
you should not have any problems
they might tag you as someone to watch, but most often not

There are many places across the border where you can cross without anyone knowing. But even with a felony they don't check everyones record. It is impossible. And if you aren't wanted then your fine. They can't stop you because you go t in trouble once. They will check ID's but besides that if your face isn't on America's most wanted you should be ok.

It also depends where you're from... If you're American, and if it's not serious felony, I doubt they'll give you much trouble.
