niagara falls has a border, one side is new york, one side is ontario. you can stay on the new york side and only get a usa visa:) |

Well, you _could_ stay on the USA side of Niagara Falls but it is really ugly on that side so you will want to cross the border to the pretty side and walk around. So even though you will spend only the day on the Canada side it would be worth getting a visa. |

You don't need a visa to visit Canada, but if you intend to travel from Canada into the U.S, then you Will need a visa!!! Ridiculous isn't it...but thats they way it is!!
We have relatives who keep a yacht on Sarnia Marina....jus across the river from Michigan....and though we could happily sail across....we weren't aloud to land, because my husband and I didn't have visas!
