You have obviously made up your mind that Canada is boring, so there is no point trying to convince you otherwise. And the question was posed in a troll-like manner so I'm guessing this was just to get all the Canadians upset, but let me answer for the sake of the other people reading it.
Florida does have a lot going for it. As you said, they have major amusement parks, nice weather, and great beaches. That is probably why many Canadians like to spend winter in Florida when they retire.
However, it is interesting that after winter is over, they keep coming back to Canada, choosing not to instead move down to Florida permanently. I wonder why that is?
Some of the reasons might be that Canada is so vast and wide open, you can explore its national parks, take a quiet canoe ride on a crystal clear lake, go camping with no one around for miles, or if you prefer just hop on a VIA train and see the sights in the luxury of a catered rolling hotel room.
We don't have hurricanes rolling in every now and then, very few dangerous animals and insects, and Canada's cities have a much lower violent crime rate.
In summer, Canada has both beaches and waterparks. You can swim in the lakes, and most have public beaches. The water is a nice 72-78F depending on where you are. I get a sunburn almost every year just going golfing, so I can imagine with the shirt off at a beach, it would be the same.
You are right when you say the ocean beaches in Canada are not particularly attractive. The waters of the North Atlantic or Pacific are not appealing at the temperatures we get here. However, I would say the same thing about Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and heck even sunny California. When I was out in Santa Monica, I put my feet in the water and it was freezing!
So is Canada a "boring" place to travel? I guess if you are not interested in the natural beauty of the world and want to live in a fantasy world of Mickey Mouse or Jurassic Park, you may find it a bit boring. If you like to fish for trout or salmon from a stream, take a quiet boat ride, go hiking and see animals that are not in cages at a zoo, I think Canada would be exciting for you.
But why does one have to choose, anyway? Can't you enjoy going to Banff (Alberta) for a ski trip, and also enjoy a golf vacation to Jacksonville (Florida)? |

Depends what you like to do, Nature is a beautiful thing, Trees and wildlife are spectacular in my opinion and i'd love to travel there one day. Not to mention theres many things to do in the extreme sports section. Base jumping, bungee Jumping, wake boarding, stuff like that. Sounds fun to me. |

LOL If you don't think you can get a sunburn in Canada you don't know much. :)
However, since you have your mind made up that you don't like Canada, please don't bother coming. Go to the beach in Florida and get your sunburn. |

NO canada is awesome. I went to montreal, it was so fun.
Biodome is awesome if u like animals. It's an open zoo (except for the antarctica section). I mean, if u truly are an an imal lover, it's worth it. You can't exactly touch them, but it's a great feeeling. Smelling the atmosphere and just feeling the air. There is one bird though, that actually comes out. Ur not allowed to touch it, but i dont know, it's cool.
Also, there are wonderful sights. And the ferry's are nice. Depending on where you live bcuz i live in new york so i passed a lot of nice places while driving up there. |

Canada has a lot to offer a tourist. It depends what you like to do. There is extreme sports, amazing museums, a few castles, out door sports, indoor sports, amazing cultural neighbourhoods in certain cities (like little india in Toronto, or china town in Vancouver are both the largest china town and little india in the entire world) . If you want fancy restaurants, really great night life and all the "young people" kinda stuff then go to Montreal. Montreal has AMAZING food, great shopping, gorgeous hotels, night life, cultural stuff and yeah..Montreal is amazing.
It's true that the beaches are too cold right now and you won't get a sunburn.
Every province and certain cities are completely different from the others in Canada. British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec all have so many fun things to offer tourists, they're just very different. You have to decide what you're looking for out of your vacation and then choose the area of Canada according to what you want. Quebec isn't going to offer any extreme sports, but BC and some parts of Ontario offer more than many places in the world. But Quebec is french! It just depends what you want. |

It really depends on when you're traveling.
In Canada you can do a lot of outdoor activities like snowboarding, skiing, hiking, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, surfing, and a lot more. Canada has the biggest mall in North America called the West Edmonton Mall(it has roller coasters, a huge water park, sea life caverns, ice palace, movie theatres, mini golfing, night clubs, a casino, and more all in one mall), Niagara Falls, CN Tower, and Canada's Wonderland. Oh and Canada's drinking age is 19, and 18 in Quebec so you can go to parties and clubs.
If you are in your teens or an adult I think you will like Canada more. |

I think it would take a lot of soap to lather the entire state of Florida, but either way, why ask? it sounds like you already have your mind made up...but I would say go Florida, stay in the us of a so you cant cause an international incident by buying the wrong brand of soap or something silly like that(which you should look into bulk pricing for, that could really get expensive...) just my $.02 |

I have travelled in Canada several times and really enjoyed it. Yes, once outside of the larger cities it does become very rural and there are lots of wide open spaces and forest land, but that's whats so pretty about it. If you don't like that sort of thing, then you probably won't like Canada. |

Depends on your age. 18-20, legal drinking age in Canada is 18. I personally liked the Edmonton Mall in Canada better than Disneyland. |
