As long as you don't give everyone a dose of American attitude, (you know, the way so many Americans think that the world owes them something type) then you will be welcomed with open arms!

Well, they might think that if you don't first find out what the laws are that govern immigration into Canada. You can't just decide to move there and you can't get a job there without a permit, which is not easy to get.

Collectively Americans a preceived as dumb, as Tommy Lee Jones said in Men In Black "A Person is smart, People are dumb panicky animals" Nobody can say for certain if you were an "american idiot" unless you presented yourself as such.
I Highly recommend you watch Rick Mercer's "Talking to Americans" and if you are anything like the Americans he speaks with then most likely we will think you are dumb.
But we wouldn't actually say it to you, because well we're canadian people think we are "too nice" |

Canadians are very welcoming. We are like all other countries. you will always have some loser people who have nothing but negative words, for the most part we are not the mean american bashers that you might think we are (well I'm not) lol. I live in Vancouver...winters are mild and summers are hot. Beautifull mountians and a big city, people are nice. Stay away from Surrey hahahha j/k |

You can be welcomed, on your own merit. Canadians look at individuals a bit more than the labels, though there still ARE labels. |
