Yes, assuming you are legally able to be married in the State you live in (if you are both men then some States apparently have legislation preventing same sex marriages). |

If there is no legal reason why you cant be married in the US. of course, otherwise we Cdn could just move to the US and not be married - wow. A legal marriage is a legal marriage all over the world. |

Now I don't know the reason but when my Canadian wife and I were going to get married and she was immigrating to the US,
both my lawyers (one US & one Canadian) told us not to wed in Canada, wed in the US. I'm American and don't know the reason. We live in Canada now so it really didn't matter. |

Yes it would be legal. Now I dont know your situation, but if your a Canadian citizen and your fiancee is American and your planning on living in the USA or Canada together, you'll have to apply for a visa to live there legally. |
