Seeing as the US has never conquered anything, nor won a war, I'd say never.
US thought about it way back when, but were to scared to. They'd never do it now seeing as every last country would be on our side and would have no problem defending us...

And knowing the American governments intelligence, they'd attack New York, Minnesota and New England thinking it was Canada.
