Im heading to Toronto this summer..what are nice, cheap, safe hotels in downtown area for 3 people?($30/40 each)

We're on a tight budget so the cheaper the better but we want to be sure that we arent sleeping with mice, just an area thats safe/clean. Any help will be appreciated!

I stay at the Days Inn at Ronsenvelles and King/Queen area, I pay from time to time up to $90 for a double, and with 3 people splitting it there is a room with 2 double beds available.

I will get you the link to check out, the hotel is right at the corner and you can get day passes for the TTC and the streetcars at the door can take you downtown on the Queen or King Cars, or up to Dundas West Station and go east or west on the Bloor line to any of the connecting lines, I see a specialist and have to because of the time and my disability stay in the city for a day or 2.

Here is the link to check out. Click on the link, and down the page they list a 2 double bed room, both smoking and non for under $140 per night.

During my last trip I came across a website called http://www.cheaphotel-s.com . It has quite a large variety of hotels. You might wanna give it a try.

you wont find anything downtown Toronto at that price...the going rate is over 200 a night....you might get something on the outskirts of town

My best advice is to try Hotwire.com. You will not get to choose the hotel you stay and only the area which it is in but you can get a hotel room downtown for a decent price and you will be let know how many stars it is worth before you pay. I have got a 4star downtown for under $100 a night. Please use hotwire and never pay full price for a hotel!!! If you need to stay on an exact intersection than this would not be ideal since you dont get to choose your exact location but If you are looking for anything downtown east or west, this is perfect.

u won't find much that is reasnably priced in the city. u may want to stay outside of Toronto or the North York area and take public transit or taxi into the city. hotels in Toronto are genraly clean.

I think you can check with the bums. They charge about that much to sleep on a subway grate.
