Have you researched work visas? You must have the appropriate visa before you can move to or work in Canada. Start with sites below.

Weather wise: the Province of British Columbia would be your best bet.

Job oppertunities :Toronto would be your best Bet

If your a trades man: go to Alberta you will make $$$$$$$$$$$$$.

If you can Speak a bit of french: go to The province of Quebec

You didn't say where you're from and what you skills are. This is important. If you're a bubba--stay home.

the Warmest place of the 3 you mentioned is Vancouver. Winters are milder and hardly dips below 0...however, it does rain alot.

Vancouver, British Columbia (BC) (3rd largest city) would be and is my choice. It has beautiful summers and mild winters (little or no snow). It is classified as one of the most livable cities in Canada. Very beautiful situated on the Pacific ocean and mountain ranges encircling her. There are many job opportunities in Vancouver,Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. A very good metro system including busses, skytrain and inland commuter train that travels from outlaying cities in the Fraser Valley to the Vancouver Metro area. Entertainment, sports, activities, parks (Stanley Park being the largest in N. America), planetarium, Science World, etc.
I'm not sure about Toronto, Ontario (largest city) job wise, except they can have some pretty wicket winters with terrible storms and snowfalls, otherwise lots of entertainment, etc.
Calgary (4th largest) is the fastest growing city In Canada in Southern Alberta, lots of employment opportunities and Chinooks in the winter which are very appealing (freezing temps at night and t-shirt weather during the day). As far as 'crime rate', pretty much the same for all 3 cities. Vancouver being the bank robbery capital of Canada, but in the fall an new integrated task force consisting of Mounties, Vancouver Police and other agency has been formed and are cracking down on all crimes in BC.

No rentals at all in Vancouver. Also, ALWAYS rains in Vancouver other than summer months. Very damp. There is one BC island (can't remember its name) that is rain-free due to wind conditions there.

Toronto is VERY SMOGGY and the air will likely shorten your life. Smog from Ohio coal-fired power plants.

BRING LOTS OF MONEY, these cities are expensive to live in.

van has the best weather , temperature wise, Calgary has the best job opportunities and Toronto is he most cosmopolitan of the three. Compared to the US, the crime rate in all three cities is extremely low.

All of Canada is cold that is why it is called
"The Great White North."

Unless you speak french do not move to Quebec, french is the official language.

Canada's big cities are very much like the big cities in the US, although most are cleaner, so many of us Americans are slobs.
Remember Canada has a high tax rate to pay for all the socail programs including socialized medicine.

Right now I can't say. Toronto is evil, I will say that. I don't like it there, full of big business clones on cell phones. Vancouver is nice. I would have said Calgary last week but I hear there is a new serial killer there and they just imposed a city wide curfew specifically to women. Not sure.
