Yes, it comes in 3 (plastic transparent rectangular) bags equalling 4litres of milk......it also comes in cartons (various sizes-1/4 litre, 1/2 litre, 1 litre and 2 litres) and in 4 litre jugs (but only in selective stores such as Mac's Milk). If you drink a lot of milk, as my family does, you buy it in bags, it's more economical and usually easier to come by. The bags are placed in "holders", tops snipped off diagonally and poured out into glasses that way. The jugs are can be returned to the store for $0.25 each. This cost is built into the price when you purchase the milk. I think most people prefer not to buy jugs because bringing the jugs back is a pain and recycling them takes up so much space in our bins that are only picked up once a week. |

YES milk in Canada can come in cartons, bags, and/or bottles (for the less than 1 litre ones). around $4.00 CAN for 4L bag of milk in Ontario. here's a link to prove it: http://p.vtourist.com/879736-Milk_in_bags_instead_of_bottles-Province_of_Ontario.jpg |

I live in Ontario and I have been buying milk in 1 litre bags for thirty years. They come in threes (in a bigger bag) and they fit nicely in a jug made for them. All you do is cut the corner off the bag and pour! Milk is also available in cartons of various sizes. |

Yes, you can buy milk in bags. It's usually sold in one liter bags and 3 or 4 are sold together. You need to buy a re-usable plastic pitcher to set the bag in. You can also buy milk in the standard cartons, but it's rare to get it in bottles anymore. |

We used to be able to get it that way in Alberta. I drank it from bags when I was a kid. I haven't seen it that way in quite a long while though. |
