In Toronto, where can I find the largest selection of English candy / chocolates?

I am missing lots of stuff from home and believe I can find lots of English stuff in Toronto. I am going next Wednesday so I need answers before then. I'm talking Flake, Cappucino KitKats, Crunchies, Curly Wurly's, spearmint leaves, musk lollies, stuff like that. I will be in the downtown area and can't travel too far from there. Thanks!

There is a shop, a tobacconist in the Atrium on Bay, I used to buy Turkish Delights, Walnut Whip and Cadbury Bits there, it is on the main level acrossed from Lictmans Book Store, just go past The Pickle Barrel.

There's a place called "Sugar Mountain." One is on Yonge St. on the NE side of Eglinton, right by the subway. It's a retro candy store with all those things you ate if you were a kid in the 70's. As part of their rare candy concept they have a number of British chocolate bars and other candies as well.

Try Tutti Frutti, Sugar Mountain and that place at the Atrium on Bay (Tobacco store on main floor, they actually have a good selection).

When I used to go to Kensington Market I saw a store on Baldwin Street (north side), just west of Spadina that carried a selection of British chocolates and candy. I don't know if it is still there and carrying the same merchandise.

On a recent trip to Ireland I was informed by the tour guide that the European Union was requiring Great Britain to comply with their standards for chocolate which meant reducing the cream content. Boo hoo!

I did see this reference on-line for British e-foods, 124 Baywell Crescent Aurora Ontario L4G 7N3 Canada

Sorry this was this best I could do for English Candy
and they won't even tell me where they are, just a phone number

Great British Goods 416-781-2211
we use to have Marks and Spencer, but their defunked.
but try this, go to
Yellow Pages.ca
Try this search

>Candy & Confectionery Retail serving Toronto Central<

that search is just for Central Downtown,
I never knew how many specitaly candy stores/places there
are in toronto,

Wow, I can't believe everyone missed the BEST store! Shocking! lol

Go to The Toronto Beaches. There is a store there at Queen Street and Lee Street, called
"The Nutty Chocolatier" they have Gobs and Gobs of English Candy!

While you are in the Beaches also Check out "Sugar Mountain" located just East of Woodbine on Queen Street. They also have a ton of English candy.

Check out my links below!

Enjoy!

Of course you miss the chocolates from home, but try some Swiss and Belgium chocolates, much better. Stay away from American chocolates...not very good,

My friend, who also misses English chocolate, tells me he gets some from a store in The Atrium at Yonge and Dundas.

David H answered your question.
However, English Candy or American Candy are both bad choices. Stick to Belgian Dark Chocolate.

ogrockwell
when you say candy you really mean weed right?

LVieau
Laura Secord or Purdies. I'm sure there's one if not both Candy stores in Toronto. I know we have them here in Vancouver.
