Vancouver is the largest city in the province of British Columbia and the third largest city in Canada. It's surrounded by water on three sides and is nestled alongside the Coast Mountain Range. Vancouver is home to spectacular natural scenery and a bustling metropolitan core, and boasts one of the mildest climates in Canada.

There is a Vancouver, WA.

But your question sounds like it refers to the Vancouver in the province of British Columbia. Beautiful place.

Not in the USA, silly. It's in British Columbia, Canada!

That's pretty funny. I know we can report abuse, but can we report blatant ignorance?

It's in Canada. Get it together.

In Canada "states" are called provinces. Vancouver is in the province of British Columbia.

Vancouver is in the province of British Columbia, in Canada. There is a Vancouver in the state of Washington, in the USA. But Vancouver, Canada, isn't part of the USA. Never has been, never will be.

OMG, I hope you were writing this as a joke .....

There IS a Vancouver in Washington state on the west coast of the US.

But the primary Vancouver, the one in Canada ... by the way, CANADA is a country, NOT a part of the US .... is in the province of British Columbia in Canada, on the west coast.

It is a major Canadian City, and a great place to live.
