In Canada English spoken the most at 60%, French is at 23% and the rest is other spoken languages. You can tell the amount of French in a province by what language the road signs are in.
Quebec is the province with the most french spoken. There road signs are in French only (except for stop signs which they changed to Arrete then they were changed to stoppe, before they were all changed back to Stop)
While New Brunswick is Canada only true biligual province. If you work for the government in this province you must speak and write in both languages. The road signs here are in both languages as 35% of the population are french speakers.
The rest of Canda, road signs are mostly in English. |

Ok, Quebec is the french speaking Province. The people mostly all speak french as their First language. New Brunswick is Bilingual but you will find that most places you go they speak English, except in the Northern part of the province which is mostly french. As you go south in the province English dominates, but many people can speak french. And there are a few french speaking schools, but not alot. As for being more french as you move Eastward, that's isn't true!! Nova Scotia may have a few french speaking communities, but you will find many more ENglish speaking people. As for Prince Edward Island, is is mainly english as well.
I find that english is more widely spoken in Canada, aside from a few french speaking communites. |

Quebec is the province most French. There are significant numbers of French people in Ontario, and in the provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. There are also some French in Manitboa.
English is spoken more than French in Canada. However, the country is officially bi-lingual. You will find both languages on all federal documents and signs, and on the coins and paper money. |

The most french is spoken in Quebec, however in every province you will find french speaking communities. I would have to say that more English is spoken, although learning both used to be mandatory in schools. |
