Mexico, The United States, and Canada is the continent of North America. British Colombia is called a Province. It is like a state. British Colombia is in Canada.

Although the analogy of a province to a state 'works' it's not exact, but good enough for this type of forum. Also, please note that depending on who you ask, Central America (countries below Mexico, but above South America) are often considered part of North America, as are the islands in the Caribbean, and Greenland as well.

British Columbia is to Canada as New Mexico is to the United States of America. The name of the Canadian province happens to be "British" Columbia.

While Canada is part of the North American continent (as is Mexico), when asked whether we Canadians are "Americans", we say, "No. We are Canadian." Why? Because t it is commonly understood that when people are speaking about "Americans" they are referring to those from the U.S.A.

British Columbia is Canada. Alaska isn't, if that's part of your question--and they have most of the coastline.

St. Pierre and Miquelon are small French territories near Canada (east coast--nowhere near B.C.)

canada is unfortunately.... located above America.
you will notice when America ends and canada begins by the overwhelming stench of canada. It certainlly has a peculiar odor. mainly of people who do not wash themselves as they were taught that water is the devil. you will also notice very large rats throughout the city as canadians are not very clen people. the 3rd way you will know when your in canada is when you see mullets, very yellow teeth, and flannel shirts. you will also find many posters of tom green as he is canadas savior

If you want to include all of the countries in North America then you have the following 27 countries

Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Canada, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Greenland (Kalaallit Nunaat), Grenada, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, United States of America

British Columbia is part of Canada -- we have ten provinces and three territories. To the north and west of British Columbia is Alaska. Other than that, everything north of the US/Canada border belongs to Canada, giving us a land mass that is larger than the United States.
Technically, North America includes Canada, US and Mexico.
Yr welcome.
