oh yes, i believe so. but if you only speak English, best to live and to work would be out of Quebec or any other provinces that has French as the main language ^_^

QT
Canada is a wonderful country to live and work in or to visit. There are many places were french is spoken, but if you want french as the "main" language, you are looking for Quebec. Any city in Quebec is mainly french.

Canada is great! I love it here. I am originally from the U.S.
Cost of living is higher than many countries, but so is the quality of life, and to me, that is a fair exchange!
It is a beautiful country, with lots to explore.
It is also a very multi-cultural country.
French is only a neccessity in Quebec, most of the rest of the country is primarily English speaking ... though you will hear a broad range of languages throughout!
Information for Visa'a and Immigration is available here:

It's the best place in the world

It has one of the lowest cost of living in the world, and some of the higher salaries, it's safe, you can have everything here, a big car and a big house!

(Cost of living is lower than in Spain, USA, UK, Scandinavia, Switzerland..., so it's among the most affordable civilized countries)

Bald is beautiful
As KD explained, one does have to be "legal" to live and work in Canada. With having lived in Canada for many years, I love the country ... it is peaceful, multicultural and scenic.

No Ottawa is not mostly french.

Mostly english, although people speaking either language would be comfortable (it's the capiltal)

Canada is fantastic.

It is a great country. But you can't just move there and work there unless you are Canadian. You have to immigrate just like any other country and get work permits and permit to live there.

Ottawa is a bilingual City with a population of almost a million. You don't have to speak french. I've lived here all my life and don't speak it fluently.
