Is Niagara Falls, Ontario the capital city of Canada?

My uncle once told me in around 1990 that the tower in Niagara Falls, Canada houses the legislative of Canada. I live in the New York side of the river and I really want to see your political system at work.

Is your legislative still in that tower?

No, Niagra Falls is not the capital of Canada. Your uncle is wrong there. Canada's Capital is Ottawa. The Parliament Buildings look something like the parliament bulidings in England (London that is).

No, Niagara Falls is not the Capital of Canada, HOWEVER, pretty Niagara-on-the-Lake (which is nearby) was once the capital of Upper Canada from 1792 to 1797.

Ottawa is the Capital of Canada.

The poster above me is correct.

That is the Skylon Tower, and it's just a observation/ resturant tower. Nothing special about it.
