It was at one time, but I would be very surprised if it still is -- more likely Maui or Cancun ---- I've never been myself but hear that Niagara Falls is spectacular and it is on my places to see before I die list ! |

In the UK we have Gretna up on the Scottish boarder. But that is more Vegas, as in a good place to get a quick wedding, but we don't have anything that equates to Niagara. |

i am Canadian and still find the statement honeymoon capital of the world difficult to understand when there far more elegant historical panoramic places around the world or maybe it's just that I've been there too often |

My place for a romantic honeymoon would be either the rocky mountains or on a beach somewhere. |

i live there and it is still called that by the locals and in the papers and that. they just opened some of those qucik wedding chapels so im sure that will help with the name. it is still the busiest and biggest tourist spot in canada so i am sure that there are still lots of honeymoons spent there. |

Yes. It is good site for enjoyment . As regards capital of honeymoon, I do not think that it is. There are several other plces where you can go for honeymoon and whichj will provide your better opportunites for enjoyment. |
