I'm from Ontario, Canada. I'm in Australia, at the moment going to an international school. Ontario is really big! In the summers, it gets really hot out, and in the Winter- It gets so cold, you wouldn't stand it. lol, theres beautiful scenery depending on where you decide to go sight-seeing. Lots of forestry, and most people are nice & friendly. Low crime rates, depending on which city. The cost for food & items is decent, but during the winters- hydro bills tend to get expensive. but overall, Canada is a beautiful country. =] |

Ontario is just like anywhere else . It is vastly different from place to place . You have your urban and rural areas . It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter . We have forested areas and fields . There are lakes .

I live in Western Australia and visited Canada (Ontario) in December/Jan. because my boyfriend lives there.
Depending on where you live in Australia you'd find it different. Say if you lived in Melbourne or Sydney then you'd find Toronto familiar. I come from Perth and I visited a place called Oshawa; it was pretty similar (apart from the weather of course lol) except the roads were all like our freeways! lol. AND NO ROUND-A-BOUTS o.O lol
It's very nice though :) I love it, wanna live there someday. |

It's enormous, just look at a map.
Stretches from Minn. to NY. State. encompasses the Great Lakes, about 1000 Miles from West to East, a bit shy of that North-South. Thousands of lakes, etc.
Just look at a map of Canada, you'll see what I'm talking about. |

Ontario is HUGE!!!!
Toronto is in Ontario (biggest city in canada) then you have Ottawa (capital of Canada) and then you have some of the most beautiful nature in the world...Pine Forests, GREEN GREEN GREEN and lots of farmland...and dont get me started on wildlife! our precious little beavers are a staple!!! dam munchkins I say!
