Oh my god, i used to live in ottawa for 4 years. It is the best city in the world! Its so beautiful in the summer and spring. It is not poor at all. It's very modern, there are new shopping malls and stores. But what i love about Ottawa the most is the people. They are so friendly. You dont know how much i want to move back to Ottawa. Ur so lucky if your moving there. If you do move there, Try to settle in an area called Orleans. Its on the east side of ottawa. Thats where i lived. Best place ever. I lived in such a friendly community called Avalon. The houses are beautiful and the whole city is amazing!

need to add one more thing, just read the answer to they guy above me, Ottawa is NOT ghetto. Its great there. But i've been talking about Ottawa, Canada so I dont know if there is another place called ottawa, but if your asking about Ottawa, Canada, then thats what ive been talking about!

You mean how hard are the schools in Ottawa?
In Ontario, you need a 50% passing grade. And be careful as to what school you chose, not gonna' name names or beat down on anything but there are some schools ... you just don't wanna be a part of. But it shouldn't be hard. Don;t listen to 'em quebec-ers about it being to easy either because in quebec they have to have a 60% for a pass. They just make it easy to pass over here just so the government looks good XD ... right ..sÃ©guay ... Schooling shouldn't be impossible.
And Ottawa is an amazing city! I love walking around parliament in the summer.

Trust me,
I live in Ottawa and it's one of the nicest, cleanest,
prettiest and Safest places to live.
It IS Canada's Capital so we have a bigger budget
for staying nice-looking.
We have a great market area for shopping, restaurants,
nights out, etc.
Lots to do, especially now that It's Spring - (I'm Not a winter
person)! But we also have the "Canal" - It's Gorgeous
Downtown at Christmas, also!
And close to Hull, P.Q. for the "Casino"
Boring? Not! Safe and fun, I'd never move! :-)

Ottawa's NO ghetto - the total opposite!
