There is much more forest in Canada than people realize. BC is nearly 100% forest. (Sure parts of the Okanagan are not, as well as the lakes and alpine peaks, etc, obviously.)

The majority of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba are forested (believe it or not). The prairie area of these provinces is large, but not compared to the whole of the provinces.

Most of Ontario and the maritimes is forested, although of course in the last century or so much of the forest in the south of Ontario has been converted to farm and city landscape.

About two thirds of Quebec is forested. There's a good chunk of tundra in the north.

So except for cities and the expanse of farm land in the populated regions of Canada, it is almost all forest in its natural state.

The satellite image of Canada below confirms what I'm saying. All the dark green, light green and greenish brown areas are forested areas. The brownish greyish areas of the arctic island areas, and areas south in mainland Canada (Nunavut mostly and the north of Quebec), make up the other dominating landscape, which I would say by looking at the photo is less than the forested areas.

In fact, a huge part of Canada is north of the treeline and has no trees whatsoever. Beautiful forests in BC, Alberta and some other provinces, but also some almost desert areas in Alberta and Saskatchewan, big cities scattered along the US border, lots (uncountable number really) of lakes, including some really huge ones, glaciers, and so on. It doesn't have much in the way of tropics, though a few palms grow in Victoria, but otherwise it offers an amazing array of landscapes. Forests cover far less than half of Canada!

Yes, indeed it is. There are no houses, stores, or roads. We live in tree forts, and we eat leaves. It is a miracle how we live, but the beavers and caribou help to raise us and show us their majestic ways. Vancouver is actually a network of tree forts and underground tunnels.

What? No. There are cities, too! And farms. Canada is one of the world's largest producer of wheat, among other things.

No. Coastal British Columbia is mostly forest from the Pacific Ocean to the Rocky Mountains. The northern interior of BC is mostly plains. Alberta is mostly plains and rolling hills to the south and forest to the north and west towards the Rockies. Saskatchewan is primarily plains in the south and small forestation in the north as is Manitoba. Ontario is heavily forested in the west and rocks and lakes to the north with the great Lakes to the south. Quebec is forested in the north. Have never been east of Quebec but know they have small forestation in certain areas. Not as dense as british Columbia.

Nope. A great mall is located in Vancouver with over 465 shops, and also the biggest mall in Canada, is located in Edmonton, which is Huge.

Nope lots of prairie in Saskatchewan and Alberta.

No. We have two oceans on each side and one in the north. We also have hundreds of thousands of lakes, rivers and ponds. There are also, farmlands, mountains, urban size cities and rural towns.

Yes - all Canuck live in tree except in winter. Heap biggum snow in winter, live in igloo then. Winter 10 months long, must store lots of seal meat.
