Canada is not in the U.K. or U.S.
Both Canada and the U.S. are on the continent of North America.
Both Canada and the U.S. are countries. They share a border. |

Guessed you missed out on Geography in school and haven't seen a map of the World?
Canada is a independent country that was once part of the British Commonwealth. It still has ties to the UK in which the reigning Monarch signs all bills that are passed. Her representative is the Governor General.
Canada is the 2nd largest country int he world, has the longest open border in the world with the United States. Is one of 3 countries in North America. Has 2 official languages English & French. |

..Wow. Some people are such morons.
Considering that the UK and Canada are seperated by the Atlantic Ocean, and a very long, boring plane ride might I add, how could it POSSIBLY be in the UK?
The US is the United States of America. Canada, is CANADA. It's own country. The US and Canada are both in North America, a continent, same as where the UK is in the continent of Europe.. |

Neither one, it's part of North America and has nothing to do with the United States. |

Canada is it's own country. Now here is the confusing part...Canada is part of North America, just like USA...Canada is part of the Commonwealth, sort of governed by the queen.
Just a quick fact though, you can fit England probably 4 or 5 times, geography wise, in Saskatchewan (a province in Canada), so it is impossible for Canada to be "in" UK. |

Are you serious??? Canada is it's own INDEPENDANT country. It's located North of the US, but were our own country. Also the second biggest country in the world. We used to belong to the UK (bak in like the 1700's where Canada wasn't even a country yet), but every since July 1,1867 (Canada's confederation day) we are our own independant country. |

OMG! Canada is in Canada!
A land of vast distances and rich natural resources, Canada became a self-governing dominion in 1867 while retaining ties to the British crown. Economically and technologically the nation has developed in parallel with the US, its neighbor to the south across an unfortified border. |
