Canada is not in the U.K. or U.S.
Both Canada and the U.S. are on the continent of North America.
Both Canada and the U.S. are countries. They share a border.

Canada is a Commonwealth Country bordering north of the United States. We have a very british history but we whave our own consitution and government.
US and UK are our friends

Guessed you missed out on Geography in school and haven't seen a map of the World?

Canada is a independent country that was once part of the British Commonwealth. It still has ties to the UK in which the reigning Monarch signs all bills that are passed. Her representative is the Governor General.

Canada is the 2nd largest country int he world, has the longest open border in the world with the United States. Is one of 3 countries in North America. Has 2 official languages English & French.

It is in North America, above the United States.

Marina K
lol you aren't serious??? Canada is its own country. One of the largest geographically too. Its above the states and on the same continent. And it started off as a colony from Great Britain but its been its own country for a very very long time.

..Wow. Some people are such morons.
Considering that the UK and Canada are seperated by the Atlantic Ocean, and a very long, boring plane ride might I add, how could it POSSIBLY be in the UK?
The US is the United States of America. Canada, is CANADA. It's own country. The US and Canada are both in North America, a continent, same as where the UK is in the continent of Europe..

Neither one, it's part of North America and has nothing to do with the United States.

Neither.

It is although, a constitutional monarchy with Queen Elizabeth II as its head of state.

Angela O
Canada is it's own country. Now here is the confusing part...Canada is part of North America, just like USA...Canada is part of the Commonwealth, sort of governed by the queen.

Just a quick fact though, you can fit England probably 4 or 5 times, geography wise, in Saskatchewan (a province in Canada), so it is impossible for Canada to be "in" UK.

Total Drama Island Know-It-All
Are you serious??? Canada is it's own INDEPENDANT country. It's located North of the US, but were our own country. Also the second biggest country in the world. We used to belong to the UK (bak in like the 1700's where Canada wasn't even a country yet), but every since July 1,1867 (Canada's confederation day) we are our own independant country.

HAPA CHIC
lol ...you are joking correct
canada is its own country in NORTH AMERICA
IT's history is very much a britich colony and we are part of the common wealth .

arreuges
OMG! Canada is in Canada!

A land of vast distances and rich natural resources, Canada became a self-governing dominion in 1867 while retaining ties to the British crown. Economically and technologically the nation has developed in parallel with the US, its neighbor to the south across an unfortified border.
