Oui, it is no problem. I think that if you are going to live there then you will have no choice but to learn the language. French is not so difficult to learn. |

Everyone outside of Quebec will tell you it's fine to live there. But all of the actual Quebecians will look down at you and spit in your food. So have a blast there, buddy. |

I had one of the best times in my life when i spent a summer in Montreal and I am English. There are good and bad people all over so anywhere can be either. Your experience is what you make it. Some beautiful areas in Quebec which are easier to appreciate if you do speak French but sometimes just attempting to speak French will open a few doors for you and Quebec people are just as friendly as any. If you add excuse, sil vous plait after your question, you'd be surprised at how good a reception you get. |

As long as you can speak the language. |

Ne pas de problem. There are many similarities between french and the english language. If you speak spanish that will definitely help. Many of the french words are latin based. But, if worse comes to worse you can always just learn from being around french speakers. |
