Absolutely not. It's normally very hot and humid. The weather we're having now is unusual (and annoying) for this time of year. It's going to warm up again.

catwomanmeeeeow
No. August is usually hot and sticky.
This past week has been strange...

isotope2007
Why is it snowing already in Detroit? Canadian temperatures are in CELSIUS not farenheit, so 33C translates into 91 F and if you call that cold you must be sick or something

Cold? I know it's not sweltering hot, but I think you're throwing the word "cold" around a bit too liberally... just wait until winter.

NO

Finally...its about time..we've had a heat wave for like the entire month of july

The simple answer is that the weather in Toronto is pretty much like New York. Year round. So if you think New York has a hot, humid summer, well, that's Toronto. If you know that NYC has a cold, snowy winter, ditto Toronto.

MelissA
You're using the word 'cold' too early! It's usually 20-25 degrees celcius here in August. It's even been pretty temperate in October and November in the past few years. January to March is when things really get colder. And snowy too.

Rain has been cancelled.

usually, its warmer than this, but we are nearing the end of the summer and getting close to fall so it isnt completely unexpected

No, it's usually about 75-80 degrees fahrenheit in August.

lotus
No, it should be hot and humid.

No, it is usually mild (10 degrees celcius) to above average (20's) in August.
