Actually, 90% of Americans rarely think about Canada at all....

It is mostly the ones that are uneducated about the rest of the world outside of the USA. A lot of Americans have visited Canada and are surprised how common the two countries are in living.

The primary reason Canadians are more educated about all things American is exposure.

In Canada, you get American TV, American movies, American ads, American news, etc. etc.

In the U.S.; there is seldom access to Canadian TV channels, or Canadian news (sad, I agree).

Also 75% of Canadians live within 120 miles of the border, while Americans are spread through the entire country.

No, I don't think that educated Americans think that at all, but, there are a few who may not be as familiar with our country as we are with theirs, and it shows!
