Is it possible for a us citizen to work in the USA and live in canada???
my partner cannot come into the states and we want to live on the canadian side of niagara falls but i will be working in the us side, is this possible? can i just come and go through the bridge in between?
You must apply to be a permanent resident of Canada to live here that will make it easier for you and you will be entitled to use the public services in Canada BUT you can also come and go daily there may be some questions at the border you should apply for a Nexus card at US Customs it should speed your crossing up.
Here is the down side it has to do with income taxes get a tax lawyer to sort it out for you, you could be in a world of hurt if you run afoul of the tax codes in both countries.
AS always for legal advise consult a lawyer

You have to apply for a work permit. You can't JUST live in Canada and work in the US, you need to apply for citizenship to live in Canada first, otherwise your living there illegally, as Canada is a country.
