Is it possible for people in Vancouver, Canada to see the Toronto Skyline?

Is it possible through a mirage or with a strong camera?

The following would stop you from seeing the Toronto Skyline even if you have very powerful eyes, a camera, binoculars or a telescope:

1. The height of the buildings in Vancouver will stop you from seeing the Toronto Skyline.

2. The Rocky Mountains would stop you from seeing the Toronto Skyline.

3. Geographic orientation would stop you from seeing the Toronto Skyline. Toronto is below the 49th parallel.

4. The Canadian Shield would stop you from seeing the Toronto Skyline.

And last but not least:

5. The smog in Toronto would stop you from seeing the Toronto Skyline.

You could have asked this question yourself by thinking a moment. Can anyone see Chicago from Seattle? Can anyone in Los Angeles see Dallas or Houston? To save yourself embarrassment in the future, check out yahoo maps and see the distance between any two destinations or seek a good atlas at the library.
No, you cannot see the Toronto Skyline from Vancouver. Some days, people in Toronto can't even see their own skyline because of smoggy conditions!

Umm do you have any idea how far apart Vancouver and Toronto are?

It's just over 2000 miles from Vancouver to Toronto. You'll need a VERY strong camera.
Through a mirage? Well, when you smoke those little funny cigarettes of yours, you can see anything.
WHAT A STUPID QUESTION!

JuanB
We can see it on TV or over the Internet.

But we cant even see as far as the Rockies. AND if we could see as far as the Rockies, that is what would be blocking the view of Toronto.

Servette
Yeah, take a trip on a balloon and fly 30,000 ft.

"5. The smog in Toronto would stop you from seeing the Toronto Skyline. "

Haha, no kidding. I live in a pretty tall building close to the shores of lake ontario and on a clear day I can see the skydome and the CN tower clear as anything. But in the heat of the summer forget it, there's so much damn smog that you can't see anything.
