You're pretty mean about this. He was probably breaching security. The same would have happened if it were the queen or the pope. And you should read up on Obama before you begin likening him to that of former Pres. Bush. Do your homework on the guy before you bash him. And I honestly hope that Canada has a Liberal Party and is the one you're referring to. Because if you're talking about the American party system, may I offer a gentle reminder that our government and politics are really not Canada's concern. You don't see us sticking our noses in your business do you? I tell all my friends regardless of who's president, if you don't like it, get the h$%^ out of the country. So I say to you, if you want to gripe and complain about our government, etc, then move here, become a citizen, and start voting first. After that, say whatever you want. I welcome it.

Its called security and if he was arrested then it's because he deserved it. If he had done the same thing in the States he would have gotten worse. There are both real and perceived threats against Obama and the rules are in place for a reason. If you are to stay behind a barrier then STAY BEHIND THE BARRIER. Simple enough. There is nothing wrong with our country at all with the exception of people who can't follow rules, won't follow rules or who whine about the rules.

I haven't seen anything of this on the news. So, if it's true, then that man is lucky he is still alive. In any other country, he would have been shot dead by security. One of the advantages of being Canadian, I guess.
