Yes it's still decriminalized... you can have less than 10 grams as far as I'm aware.

You can still get fined, but not arrested for having under that amount. You just can't sell it, buy it or grow it. ;)

In a judgement issued on Oct. 7, 2003, the Ontario Court of Appeal wrote new rules to make it easier for people who are ill to get medicinal marijuana legally, but in the process, it reinstated laws making possession of pot for social or recreational use illegal.

The Supreme Court of Canada said in a decision on Dec. 23, 2003, that Canada's laws against possessing small amounts of marijuana do not violate the Charter of Right and Freedoms and its protection of life, liberty and security of person.

So you can be arrested unless the marijuana has been prescribed by a physician.

In reality, unless you are hauling garbage bags-full out of your grow operation, the cops have more important things to do.

I don't think it's decriminalized, but they usually won't arrest you for it. Every time me or one of my friends has been caught, they just make me throw it away.

Hey it is still legal to have marijuana in Canada just to let you know. Just dont try bringing it back into the states they have the dogs out for people crossing the border for the next two months i only know that cause i live in buffalo and of course we are mad close to canada. well hope that answers your question!

As long as you dont have too much or smoke it around kids and stuff, the cops ignore it.

it is still illegal, when in doubt don't do marijuana

No- it isn't unless its' for medical reasons. They arrest you left right and center in Canada just as everywhere else.

It's still a crime to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana. The liberal government once had plans to decriminalize marijuana in small amounts or for medical reasons but Stephen Harper burned the plans.
