I grew up in ns and average summer temp is about 34 degrees celcius. beautiful weather and you should have no problem tanning

I'm currently LIVING in Nova Scotia.
It really depends on the year, I'd say. I'm assuming you're coming this year, right?
Well, we had a REALLY mild winter. So I'm assuming it might be a pretty hot summer. Last Monday we had +27 degrees Celsius, which is really weird for April. Anyway, you can probably expect really warm weather!
Hope you enjoy your cruise.

well when I went to visit Nova Scotia South Shore region I found that in the early mornings I would have to wear a sweater because it was cool but by 11:00am I found I was sweating and wearing shorts because it was to warm. overall the weather was fantastic(I visited in July) and I was about 10 shades darker soon after so have fun and enjoy the cruise hope this helped

You will probably get a tan if the weather is good.

No - it is not cold.
Eat lots of Lobster with Butter.

What do you call "cold"? Nova Scotia has summer, just like everywhere else.

Worst sunburn I've ever had I got in Nova Scotia. You might be cooled by the breeze from the ocean but it is quite warm and sunny, just the same as everywhere else. Besides, it's a beautiful place to visit.
