How stupid are you to not know the answer to this. If you dont know where Canada is, you dont even deserve to live in the USA. You do know that "New York City" is a city and not a state right? And that "Long Island" is not a state? |

Well, we're all entitled to ask dumb questions. So here's a dumb answer. If you want to get to Canada (no quotes) from the US the short way, then you go north. If you've got all kinds of time and you want to see (ie. LEARN) some more about the rest of the world, then go south. It's a much farther distance, but I hear, very scenic. Don't forget your flip-flops for the North Pole, I hear the beaches are spectacular. And those big ol' fuzzy white bears are not as mean as they make them out to be. Go on, make a friend with one. |

In some parts of the US, it's north and south. |

From here, go to Ireland and jump into the sea, cross the Atlantic in the direction of the SETTING sun, and when you hit land, walk for a week or two in the same direction and then turn RIGHT. When it gets cold you are in Canada. |

Why is Canada in quotes? Are you not convinced that it exists? Canada is real.
Most of it's North, but if this is one of those trick questions, yes, it's possible to travel south into Canada from the US in certain areas. |

Canada is on top of the US and it's bigger. If North America was a prison, the US would be Canada's b**ch . . . |

It's north. Trust me. And until the magnetic poles are reversed by some freak accident of nature, it will forever be the Great White North, Hoser! (Koo ru koo koo!) And as for Alaska... they're practically part of Canada anyway ;) |

The majority of Canada is north of the majority of the US. But there are exceptions like Alaska, etc. |
