Is there a direct flight from India to Canada?

How much does it cost? Is it cheaper to fly from Bangkok?

I lived in India for 3 years and made the trip very often.

I have never seen a direct flight offered. Its just too far a distance I believe and since none of the commercial airlines do air-to-air refueling......

The flights I took were from Toronto-London-Delhi or Toronto-Amsterdam-Delhi. When we went the other way it was Vancouver-Hong Kong-Bangkok-Delhi.

Generally, I found the flights FROM Delhi to Canada cheaper when we flew through Europe however we were going to Toronto. If you are flying to BC then through Bangkok should be cheaper.

if you mean a direct flight with no stopping in between or no change in aircraft, then the answer is no.
but if you mean the direct flight as one in which u don't have to change planes, air india offers a flight from amritsar and jet airways from delhi.
if you are in india, it is cheaper to buy a ticket in India itself

There was one direct flight from New Delhi to Toronto from Air Canada but not any more. There is many flights from Mumbai or Delhi to Toronto in which you dont need to change plane but it stops somewhere in Europe for couple hour for cleaning. how much it cost its always different from airline company to company and season too but its always good to inquire 2 to 3 local ticket agents before booking tickets............

As far as I know, I have heard of a direct flight from Vancouver BC to Delhi that my grandparents took from Canada, but I'm not sure if it flies from Delhi to Vancouver direct. Other than that, I'm not too sure. Cost depends on the airline, I recommend Jet Airways, as their the cheapest I'v seen. It should cost roughly $1200-$1800, again depending on the airline. You should explore the different airlines by web. Hope this helps! :)

Many people from India find Canada a great place to get jobs.

Give it a try!
