You have to go on the Maid of the Mist, Cave of the Winds (American side) and the Daredevil Museum (it's in a convenience store!) Awesome I would stay on the American side--it's cheaper, but you need to see the falls at night from the Canadian side. Both sides have good restaurants.

I always stay at the Quality Inn On Clifton Hill the street of fun. Its close to everything and walking distance to the Falls and Casino's because if you stay away from the falls every where you go you have to pay to park about 10 dollars. Any Hotel on Clifton Hill is great. If you like crowds because the street is crowded but you can park your car at the hotel and leave it there for the stay.

I only went like twice, once when I was a baby and once when I was like 17 or something. I was with parents, so don't know the real crazy wild fun things. But my manager lives in Niagara Falls, Canada and we work in Niagara Falls, NY. He told me he had a blast at Goat Island (i dont know what that is) and he's been planning on going to the Gorge again which is near Main St. and Whirlpool on the American side (I've passed it on my deliveries).

Also, as I'm driving around Niagara Falls, NY I see tons of signs for carnivals and stuff. And there's a bar scene around 3rd street in the USA side. Right next door to where I work is a welcome center that gives out free maps and information...there's bunches of them all around, just stop in and they can tell you all the cool things around.

the guiness book museum is really cool
we stayed at the sheraton on the falls beautiful view
and dont miss Jay Cochran Aerialist he will walk from the hotel to Niagara Fallsview and after ward sign autographs he accepts donations for tender wishes
canada version of make a wish If u like ribs tony romas is really good and for a great breakfast buffet the sheraton on the falls has an excellent selection

A resonable priced motel which is located near a Japanese Resturant if you enjoy asian cusine. Also an indian and chinese resturant less than 2 minutes drive, along with Arbys and Tim Hourtons. In NY i reccomend Lockport Caves, Seneca Casino, Old Fort Niagara, Helicopter Rides and Buffalo and Erie County
Naval & Military Park. Best of all for shopping lovers is the Prime Outlet Malls

Clifton Hill has the things you are looking for: entertainment and food. Don't forget the Skylon; great view and lunch/dinner. Maid of the Mist will bring you very close to the falls on boat. Everything is possible in Niagara Falls as long as you have the money.

The restaurant upstairs at the Table Rock overlooking the Horseshoe Falls is a great place to eat. As for places to stay, there are tons - Marriott, Sheraton, Hyatt all have restaurants with great views. Things to see - the casino, Walk behind the Falls, Maid of the Mist, Butterfly Conservatory and, if you want to get out of the city itself, wine country.
