This is a really dumb question....

Are there police? Of course. You know those big white cars that say Police on them? They have police in them... Duh.If you paid attention to the world you would know this, and that we're getting 201 more of them over the next few years.

Driving on your Class 7 alone? Bad idea. You'll be charged and can face jail time (if your lucky). If you're unlucky you'll kill somebody because anyone that says they know a lot about driving, obviously doesn't. It takes years to learn how to drive, that's why they have the learners and GDL licences. These are here you you don't kill someone by driving.

Just sit and wait. I waited. It's not that hard. You have two choices be patient, or drive anyways go to jail, get a criminal record, and make innocent people die because of you.

Oh, FYI, you maybe don't want your picture as your avatar so we can all recognize you on the road and call the police....

Yes, of course there are police in Calgary.

Have you ever seen any police cars? Guess what - there are police in them. They like to ticket and arrest people who are flagrantly breaking laws...like you plan to.

"i already know alot about driving"

Well, you aren't great at spelling or proper capitalization, and you don't even know if there really are police patrolling in your city...so I'd say it's safe to assume you don't know as much about driving as you think.

Glad I'm not in Calgary right now...wouldn't want to be on the same roadway as an unlicensed driver who thinks he knows what he's doing.

Korean Girl
Um, yeah. Police aren't as dumb as you think they are.
Just be patient and wait for your license.
Seriously consider it: get caught, and probably never get a license or just wait.

theres police almost everywhere you dumb ****

pinkpiglet126
Uh yeah, of course there are cops. You get caught with your learners and you won't be driving for a long time.

I'm thinking you are a dangerous fool, and I don't want to be on the road with anybody that thinks they know enough about driving, but can't pass a driver test.

Police-wise Calgary is patrolled by both the Canadian R.C.M.P. and the Calgary City Police (Calgary Police Service).

I'm not sure what the penalties are for driving without a license are, but know that they will be harsher if you are over 18. Either way you will likely have to wait longer to get your actual license. (If you are not Canadian, in the process of emigrating, you could be looking at creating problems with that process)

However, it is your choice to drive or not. It is breaking the law, but if you think you can do it in a way that doesn't endanger anyone else, and you don't attract attention to yourself, you may wind up going longer without getting caught. I can't remember if they ask for your license at Checkstops, but know that it's your butt on the line.

PLEASE do not drive without proper insurance though - should the worst happen, you could wind up with heft fines and bills!

ace
yes there are but you can take the risk y not you only live once
